AC Milan have been priced out of a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Gonçalo Ramos (24) according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri. Milan made an approach and contacted the Portuguese international's agent, but PSG's financial demands were too high for the Serie A club to meet.
Ramos had a limited role during PSG's highly successful previous season, where the club won the Ligue 1 title, the UEFA Champions League, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions.
PSG have so far not added major signings during the current transfer window, though a deal for Bournemouth's Illia Zabarnyi is reportedly nearing completion. Departures have also been few, with Milan Skriniar being a recent exception.
Despite earlier speculation about a potential exit, Ramos now appears set to stay at PSG following Milan's inability to meet the asking price. PSG are consequently looking to retain the player.
