Agjanti Miller heats up as undermanned San Beda flattens rival Letran

Agjanti Miller led San Beda University to a 68-58 victory over rival Colegio de San Juan de Letran in NCAA Season 101, securing an unbeaten 2-0 start for the Red Lions in Group B. The Filipino-American guard shone in his first rivalry game, scoring a game-high 22 points, including eight consecutive points in the penultimate period, along with five rebounds, two assists, and a crucial block.

San Beda took control in the third quarter, with Miller hitting a triple and completing a three-point play to fuel a 10-1 run, entering the fourth quarter with a 53-45 lead. Despite Letran's efforts to close the gap to four points late in the game, San Beda remained composed, with Bismarck Lina making key free throws and Miller sealing the win with a block and a slam dunk. Letran fell to 0-2 after a previous loss to JRU.

Miller expressed honor and excitement about playing in the historic rivalry, emphasizing his anticipation since joining the team. San Beda achieved this win despite missing veterans Yukian Andrada and RC Calimag due to injuries.
