Allan e Plata devem reforçar o Flamengo contra o Atlético-MG, no domingo

Flamengo is set to receive reinforcements ahead of their Brasileirão match against Atlético-MG on Sunday at the Maracanã. Midfielder Allan and forward Gonzalo Plata are expected to be available for selection. Allan missed the previous match against Red Bull Bragantino due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot, but the club opted to rest him to manage the pain, and he is likely cleared to play. Plata, who was sidelined for the last two games with tendinitis in his right thigh, returned to full training with the squad at Ninho do Urubu on Friday.

Despite these returns, Flamengo still has six players sidelined in the medical department. Full-backs Ayrton Lucas and Alex Sandro are working towards being available for the subsequent Copa do Brasil match against Atlético-MG next Thursday. Both sustained injuries during the July 12th match against São Paulo. Ayrton Lucas suffered a deep laceration on his left leg, exposing the tibia bone, with a recovery estimate of approximately three weeks. Alex Sandro was diagnosed with a left posterior thigh injury, facing a similar return timeline.
