Baltimore Ravens DB Kyle Hamilton Says This Rookie is "Miles Ahead of Where I was"

As NFL training camps commence for the 2025 season, Baltimore Ravens rookie safety Malaki Starks, a first-round pick, has garnered significant attention from teammates and coaches for his impressive athleticism displayed during practices.

All-Pro Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton, Starks' teammate, stated that Starks is "miles ahead" of where Hamilton himself was during his own rookie season. Hamilton praised Starks as "super talented" and predicted that "once it all clicks for him, he's going to be one of the best in the league," believing Starks has star potential.

Starks' ability to impress teammates began in college at Georgia, where as a freshman he led the Bulldogs in pass deflections during their 2022 national championship season, quickly establishing himself as a leader on their elite defense.

The Baltimore Ravens, featuring both Starks and Hamilton, will begin their 2025 regular season on Sunday, September 7th, playing the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo. The game is scheduled for an 8:20 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on NBC/Peacock.
