Breanna Stewart Tops Liberty's First NBA 2K26 Rating

Breanna Stewart leads the initial player attribute ratings for the upcoming "NBA 2K26," set for release on September 5th. According to 2kratings.com, the New York Liberty star holds a rating of 97.

Stewart tops the Liberty rankings, just ahead of teammates Sabrina Ionescu (93) and Jonquel Jones (92). Her high rating reflects her transformative impact on the Liberty since joining in 2023, including leading them to their first championship last fall.

Despite currently being sidelined with a leg injury (missing at least the game against Dallas on Monday) and slightly below her usual shooting standards, Stewart is averaging 18.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and a career-best 3.9 assists this season.

Stewart's 97 rating is tied with Minnesota Lynx's Napheesa Collier for the second-highest in the WNBA virtual roster featured in the game. Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson holds the top spot with a 98 rating.

With Stewart, Ionescu, and Jones all rated 90 or above, the Liberty are the only WNBA team in the game featuring three players at that level. Caitlin Clark and Alyssa Thomas round out the top five players, just ahead of Ionescu in sixth alongside Nneka Ogwumike, while Jones is alone in eighth place.

The Chicago Sky's Angel Reese will be on the cover of the WNBA edition of "NBA 2K26," while NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander appears on the standard NBA version cover.
