Cedric Tillman Leaves practice early

Tillman exited Friday's practice early, walking to the locker room with a medical staff member. Reports indicate he was holding his lower leg after going down in the back of the end zone. The injury, possibly cramping or a bruise, caused him to miss the rest of practice. This is a concern for the Browns, who have shaky wide receiver depth even when healthy, and are already missing David Bell (hip) and Michael Woods (hand) at camp. Tillman is expected to start after a mid-season breakthrough last year, though he missed the final month in concussion protocol.

Ford (undisclosed) worked out with the athletic training staff Friday and is reportedly getting closer to practicing. However, he remained sidelined during Thursday's practice.

Flacco was the first quarterback up for the Browns' 11-on-11 work Thursday. This followed Kenny Pickett getting the first crack with the starters during the 11-on-11 session Wednesday. Flacco did not participate in Wednesday's 11-on-11 session.

Linebacker Hicks announced via Instagram on Friday that he is retiring from the NFL.

General Manager Andrew Berry acknowledged Thursday that running back Judkins may not be seen on the field at training camp for a while.
