Chelsea 26-27 Home Kit Colors Leaked

The first major leak of Chelsea's 2026-27 home kit, courtesy of Opaleak, reveals the club is bringing back yellow as an accent colour. The Nike jersey will combine Bright Blue with Midwest Gold and white. This combination represents a significant departure from recent traditional Chelsea aesthetics, marking one of the boldest kit changes in years.

This will be the first time Chelsea has used yellow on a home shirt since the 2021-22 season, coinciding with the five-year anniversary in 2026. It also marks the 30th anniversary of the first Chelsea home kit featuring yellow logos, worn during the 1995-97 seasons.

While detailed design information about the Nike Chelsea 2026-27 home shirt is not yet available, it is confirmed that it will be based on Nike's new template debuting for the 2026 World Cup. Similar to the 2025-26 shirts, the 2026-27 home kit has been designed by a London-based designer. Nike states this move aims to bring the design process closer to the club and incorporate more fan feedback, addressing past criticisms that US-based designs led to unpopular home shirts.

The Nike Chelsea 2026-27 home shirt is scheduled for release in May 2026.
