Chelsea have no intention of selling Marc Cucurella to Saudi Pro League clubs

Chelsea are determined to retain defender Marc Cucurella this summer, dismissing speculation linking him with a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants him. Cucurella, 27, became a crucial player for Chelsea last season after overcoming previous struggles, contributing seven goals and four assists. Manager Enzo Maresca has praised him as 'clever and intelligent'. Despite the potential arrival of young defender Jorrel Hato, which will provide competition, Chelsea are reluctant to sell Cucurella even if Al-Nassr makes a lucrative offer, given his importance and heavy workload last season.

Separately, Chelsea have no interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer. Donnarumma is entering the final year of his PSG contract and is reportedly seeking a move away without signing a new deal. While Chelsea publicly express satisfaction with current goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, especially after his Club World Cup performances, his numerous mistakes and poor kicking cost the team points last season. The club's prior attempt to sign Mike Maignan indicates they are open to replacing Sanchez, but Donnarumma will not be that replacement.
