The Chicago Sky announced a sellout crowd of 19,601 fans for their Sunday game against the Indiana Fever at the United Center. This marks the second time this season the WNBA team has sold out the arena, which is also home to the NBA's Bulls and NHL's Blackhawks.

The sellout occurred despite the absence of star players Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese due to injury. Clark missed the game with a right groin injury sustained before the All-Star break, marking her 13th missed game this season. Reese was sidelined for her second consecutive game with a back injury. Both players were present at the venue but did not play.

Indiana defeated Chicago 93-78, continuing their dominance this season with three blowout victories averaging a 25.7-point margin. Clark played in only one of those three matchups.

Viewership figures for Sunday's game weren't available, though previous matchups featuring both stars drew significant audiences (2.7 million on May 17, 1.92 million on June 7). The 2025 All-Star Game without Clark drew 2.19 million viewers.

Beyond her injury, Reese faces potential suspension as she leads the WNBA with seven technical fouls - one away from an automatic one-game suspension. The Sky have 19 regular-season games remaining.

Chicago head coach Tyler Marsh described Reese's technical fouls as a "product of passion" and stated they've petitioned the league to rescind some calls, though the final decision rests with the WNBA.
