Chicago Sky Sign Former New York Liberty Guard

The Chicago Sky have signed guard Marquesha Davis to a seven-day hardship contract, as announced by the team on social media platform X.

Davis played college basketball at Arkansas (7 games) and Ole Miss, where she earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors and helped the team reach the Sweet Sixteen. She was drafted 11th overall by the New York Liberty in the 2024 WNBA Draft but was waived earlier this month after appearing in 20 regular season games and one playoff game, averaging four minutes per game during the season.

The Sky are dealing with injuries ahead of their game against the Minnesota Lynx, with Ariel Atkins and Michaela Onyenwere listed on the injury report. However, Angel Reese is returning to the lineup after missing the previous game and participating in the All-Star Game.

The Sky face the Minnesota Lynx tonight at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
