Crash with serious injuries happens on US-41 Sunday evening

Fort Myers police responded to a serious traffic crash on US-41 Sunday evening. According to the Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD), the crash involved three vehicles and resulted in significant injuries.

One person sustained critical injuries and was classified as a "Trauma Arrest," while another person suffered serious injuries and was labeled a "Trauma Alert." Additionally, two other individuals were reported to have minor injuries.

Reports indicated that one of the three vehicles involved rolled over during the incident. The crash led to the closure of both southbound and northbound lanes of US-41 between Edison Avenue and Victoria Avenue for an extended period.
