Planes, formerly Barcelona's technical secretary, explained to MARCA that recruiting players at career peaks—such as recent signings Steven Bergwijn (25), Houssem Aouar (26), and Moussa Diaby (27)—is central to the league's strategy. He highlighted Vinícius as an ideal candidate, noting: "He has everything in his favor... certainly has all the conditions to join this league," while also referencing young talents like Unai Hernández and Mario Mitaj as part of their vision.
