Giannis Antetokounmpo also shone, contributing 37 points in Greece's narrow 84-79 win against Israel. No other Greek player scored more than 11 points in the match.

In an early upset, Georgia defeated France despite France having the 2024 NBA Draft's top pick, Zaccharie Risacher, who managed only 7 points. France was further weakened by the absence of Alex Sarr, who was ruled out due to a calf injury. This victory marks Georgia's first-ever advancement to the EuroBasket quarterfinals.
