FC Cincinnati announced the signing of Moroccan forward Ayoub Jabbari on loan from French Ligue 2 club Grenoble.
The 25-year-old joins Cincinnati through the end of the 2025 season, with the deal including a purchase option. He will occupy an international roster slot on the team.
General Manager Chris Albright expressed excitement about the signing, highlighting Jabbari's physicality, work rate, and hold-up play as valuable additions. Albright also stated they expect Jabbari to be an immediate character fit and look forward to him joining the team in Cincinnati.
Jabbari's playing record includes 99 appearances across the Spanish and French lower divisions, where he recorded 14 goals and 4 assists. Most recently, he scored 3 goals in 26 Ligue 2 matches for Grenoble during the last season.
He joins FC Cincinnati's striker group, which is led by club-record signing Kévin Denkey and also includes MLS veterans Kei Kamara, Sergio Santos, and Corey Baird.
