Feyenoord score seven against Heracles Almelo; Guus Til fires PSV past Go Ahead Eagles

Feyenoord delivered a commanding 7-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Heracles Almelo, solidifying their position at the top of the Eredivisie with a three-point lead over PSV Eindhoven. The win was fueled by a first-half hat-trick from Ayase Ueda, who scored in the 7th, 33rd, and 38th minutes, making him the fourth Feyenoord player to achieve a first-half hat-trick in the Eredivisie this century and the current top scorer of the season with 11 goals.

Anis Hadj Moussa added two goals, with his first coming in the 28th minute due to a goalkeeping error by Heracles' Timo Jansink, and his second in the 59th minute. Sem Steijn and Gonzalo Borges also found the net, with Borges scoring his first goal for Feyenoord by chipping the ball over Jansink to complete the 7-0 scoreline.

Heracles Almelo continues to struggle this season, having won only one of their nine league games and losing the remaining eight, highlighting a challenging campaign under Bas Sibum.

PSV Eindhoven maintained pressure on Feyenoord by defeating Go Ahead Eagles, with Guus Til scoring two goals while filling in as a striker amid an injury crisis. The match also served as a farewell to club legend Luuk de Jong, who has left for FC Porto after winning five league titles with PSV.

Both Feyenoord and PSV are now turning their attention to European fixtures, with PSV set to host Napoli in the UEFA Champions League and Go Ahead Eagles facing Aston Villa in the UEFA Europa League in midweek.

Elsewhere in the Eredivisie, NEC Nijmegen and FC Twente played out an entertaining 3-3 draw, featuring two penalty goals from Ricky van Wolfswinkel for Twente. Notably, the league has seen no 0-0 draws in the first 80 matches of the season, a historic first for the Eredivisie.
