Sky Sports Germany confirmed that former Ajax goalkeeper Diant Ramaj will leave Borussia Dortmund on loan, joining Bundesliga club FC Heidenheim until season's end. Notably, the loan agreement does not include a purchase option for Heidenheim.
Despite signing a contract with Dortmund lasting until summer 2029, Ramaj struggled for playing time at Westfalenstadion. Following his arrival at Dortmund, he was immediately loaned to FC Copenhagen for the 2024-25 season.
In an interview with BILD, the 23-year-old declared himself Germany's top young goalkeeping talent: "Among young talents, I'm number one." While acknowledging Manuel Neuer as the undisputed best among older keepers, he named Marc-André ter Stegen, Alexander Nübel, and Oliver Baumann as next in line, emphasizing he focuses on competing with young peers for future opportunities rather than comparing himself to established veterans.
The goalkeeper has prior connections to Heidenheim, having spent one season in their youth academy followed by another season with their senior team before his Ajax transfer.
