Former Juventus, Chelsea, and Inter winger Juan Cuadrado is close to joining newly-promoted Serie A club Pisa. According to SkySport reports relayed by FirenzeViola, Cuadrado is expected to arrive in Pisa tomorrow to finalize the deal and undergo medical tests.
The Colombian player will join Pisa on a free transfer, as his contract with Atalanta expired last month after just one season. During his time at Atalanta, Cuadrado made 32 appearances across all competitions.
Pisa, newly promoted to Serie A, has the primary objective of avoiding relegation. Recognizing the difficulty of this challenge, the Tuscan club hopes that signing experienced players like Cuadrado will significantly strengthen their squad. Furthermore, Bologna's Michel Aebischer is also set to join Pisa this week on a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
