John Marquez

John Marquez is currently starring in the production "Opening Night" at the Gielgud Theatre in London.

Marquez is a British actor with extensive stage and screen credits. His recent theatre work includes playing Alfred Doolittle in "Pygmalion" at the Old Vic, where he also previously appeared in "The American Clock" and "Flea in her Ear". His diverse theatre career encompasses roles in productions such as "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" at the Savoy Theatre, "Privates on Parade" at the Noël Coward Theatre, "Ragtime" at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, "The Taming of the Shrew" for the Royal Shakespeare Company, "The Anniversary" at the Garrick Theatre, and "The Emperor Jones", "Market Boy", and "Sing Yer Heart Out for the Lads", all performed at the National Theatre.

On television, Marquez is widely recognized for his role as PC Joseph Penhale in the popular ITV series "Doc Martin".
