Karl-Anthony Towns shares importance of Carmelo Anthony in his first Knicks season

He specifically credited Anthony, an NBA legend, as a major inspiration during his youth, recalling watching Anthony create "magical moments" at Madison Square Garden. Towns expressed pride in now having the opportunity to create his own history with the Knicks.

Statistically, Towns had a strong individual season, averaging 24.4 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. His performance earned him his fifth All-Star selection and a spot on the All-NBA Third Team.
