Kiefer Ravena described meeting Michael Jordan at Jordan Brand's exclusive "Board of Greatness" event in Athens as a surreal and once-in-a-lifetime experience that motivated him. The 31-year-old guard received the invitation months prior while in Japan, immediately sharing the news with his mother and wife, Diana, stressing the need for a visa before announcing it publicly.

Upon securing his visa, Ravena attended the event, expressing immense surprise at seeing Michael Jordan's name among the attendees, having never expected to meet his basketball idol face-to-face. He captured a memorable, albeit shaky, selfie with Jordan, humorously noting his nervousness was evident in the photo.

Ravena highlighted that Jordan's presence was deeply impactful, particularly impressed by how hands-on and engaged the basketball legend was during the event, which increased his admiration.
