This annual award, specifically the Men's World 11, is voted on by the top players in modern football to celebrate outstanding footballing excellence on a worldwide scale, with a history dating back to its inception in 2005.

The 2025 edition will mark the 21st iteration of the awards, where the 11 players receiving the most votes in their respective positions are chosen for the World 11; for the 2025 Men's and Women's World 11, players from 70 countries have participated in the voting.
