Arsenal has confirmed the signing of Cristhian Mosquera on a long-term contract.

The squad is preparing for their next pre-season match in Asia against Newcastle United, who will be without Alexander Isak.

Arsenal has reportedly reached a total agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign striker Viktor Gyokeres. An initial fee of €63.5m plus €10m in add-ons is expected. Gyokeres has been granted permission to travel for a medical scheduled for Saturday and is expected to wear the number 14 shirt, famously worn by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

Concerns persist regarding the contract situations of defender William Saliba and forward Bukayo Saka. Saliba's current deal runs until 2027, but talks over a new agreement are ongoing without resolution. Similarly, Bukayo Saka has yet to agree on a new deal. The club aims to secure both players' futures.
