LeBron James Posts Video While Golfing in Fog Ahead of Luka Doncic's Lakers Contract

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers forward, recently took up golf and shared an Instagram story showing him encountering a challenge with dense fog during a round on Saturday. His newfound interest in golf had previously drawn attention, including from Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

Meanwhile, the Lakers had an eventful day finalizing a significant three-year, $165 million contract extension with Luka Doncic. The team held a press conference following the signing. Seven of Doncic's Lakers teammates attended the press conference, including new additions Deandre Ayton and Marcus Smart, as well as existing players Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent.

However, not all Lakers were present at the Doncic press conference. LeBron James and Austin Reaves were notably absent. The press conference was reportedly organized on short notice.

Despite James missing the event to play golf (his location unspecified), there is no indication of any issue between him and Doncic. The two players have great respect for each other, with no signs of discontent observed last season. Doncic's manager, Lara Beth Seager, confirmed the positive nature of their relationship.

The Lakers secured Doncic's future with the team through the major contract extension. LeBron James is currently enjoying his offseason, preparing for his 23rd NBA season.
