Lynx Star Gives Chicago Sky's Angel Reese Her Flowers

Chicago Sky player Angel Reese is recognized for her improving offensive skills, including her three-point shot, finishing at the basket, and mid-range game. However, her greatest strength remains rebounding, where she excels above all others.

During the All-Star break, Reese and Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier shared a friendly moment. Collier publicly praised Reese's aggressive and relentless rebounding in a video posted by the Chicago Sky, though she humorously tempered her compliments since their teams face each other immediately after the break. Collier acknowledged how difficult Reese is to stop on the boards.

Collier's praise is substantiated by Reese's performance against the Lynx. In five career games against Minnesota, Reese has averaged 16.8 points, 14.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists, although her team has only won one of those games. Reese leads the entire league in rebounding in 2024 with 12.6 rebounds per game, significantly ahead of the second-ranked player, A’Ja Wilson (9.2 rebounds per game).

Despite Reese's individual dominance, the Chicago Sky need to improve their performance to contend for the playoffs. Currently eight games below .500, they face a challenging schedule, including a crucial first game back against Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx on July 22.
