Maxey, Edgecombe off to historic start for Sixers

The 76ers' turnaround from last season's 24-58 record is partly due to drafting Edgecombe with the No. 3 pick, a result of lottery luck that protected their first-round selection. Edgecombe, averaging 25 points with efficient shooting, attributes his success to confidence, hard work, and studying the game alongside teammates like Maxey and Embiid. The duo's historic start has generated excitement within the organization and the city, with both players expressing surprise and focus on maintaining their aggressive play to help the team win.
