Memphis Grizzlies invite fans to upcoming open practice

The Memphis Grizzlies are inviting fans to their annual open practice for the 2025-26 basketball season, scheduled for Saturday, October 4 at 1 p.m. at FedExForum.

The event begins with a Plaza Party at 11 a.m. on the Big River Steel Plaza, featuring a live DJ, inflatables, face painting, and balloon artists. Doors open at noon, and fans can enjoy appearances by Grizz, the Grizz Girls, the Claw Crew, and other entertainment teams.

During the practice, players will participate in basketball-skills challenges led by Head Coach Thomas Iisalo and a half-court shot contest that benefits The Soulsville Foundation and Collage Dance. There will also be a performance by Stax Music Academy, with students from Stax Music Academy and Contemporary Arts Memphis involved in player introductions.

Fans attending the open practice can unlock a $9.01 discount for the opening night game on October 22. The first 500 attendees will receive an autographed player photo.

Admission is free, but RSVP is encouraged online. Seating is first come, first served, and free parking is available in the Gossett Motors Garage.
