Memphis Grizzlies Release 1-Year NBA Player

The Memphis Grizzlies waived rookie guard Zyon Pullin this week. This move was announced simultaneously with the team signing PJ Hall to a two-way contract. Pullin, 24, had appeared in three games for the Grizzlies during his rookie NBA season.

The announcement generated reactions on social media. Comments included observations that the move confirmed the Grizzlies' likely three two-way contract players (Javon Small, Jahmai Mashack, and PJ Hall), expressions of approval for the signing of Hall, dislike for Pullin, well wishes for Pullin, and predictions about Mashack receiving a two-way contract.
