Michigan State basketball’s Tom Izzo lands 2026 4-star over Michigan, Tennessee

Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo secured a commitment from four-star 2026 guard prospect Carlos Medlock Jr., who chose the Spartans over rival Michigan, Tennessee, and other programs including Creighton, Iowa, and Oklahoma State. The commitment builds on Michigan State's successful 2024-25 season, where the team reached the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament.
