Midfielder would consider leaving Real Madrid this summer – on one condition

However, reports indicate Alonso is currently counting on Ceballos for the upcoming season, and the 28-year-old isn't actively seeking a move. His stance could change if Real Madrid signs another midfielder, as Ceballos prioritizes regular playing time to secure a spot in Spain's 2026 World Cup squad.

Ceballos has frequently been linked with a return to his boyhood club, Real Betis, who have openly expressed interest. While a summer move to Betis remains possible if Madrid signs a midfielder, it's still considered unlikely.

With Ceballos' contract running until 2027, Real Madrid would likely be open to his departure this summer but won't override Alonso's preference. The situation depends on whether Real Madrid decides to sign a new midfielder, a decision they haven't finalized yet.
