Milan get Modric date and receive Saudi Pro League bids

Luka Modrić is scheduled to undergo his medical tests and sign his contract with AC Milan on Monday, July 14. This follows the completion of his commitments with Real Madrid at the FIFA Club World Cup after deciding to join Milan as a free agent upon the expiry of his Real Madrid contract.

Meanwhile, AC Milan is actively working to reduce their midfield squad, which has become surplus to requirements, particularly after signing Samuele Ricci from Torino. Midfielders Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli, both returning from loans (to Olympique Marseille and Fiorentina respectively) where the options to buy were not activated, have received transfer proposals from the Saudi Pro League. It is uncertain if either or both players will accept these offers, as Adli is also attracting interest from Bologna.
