Moroccan defender Adam Aznou is set to leave Bayern Munich permanently for Everton. The 19-year-old, whose Bayern contract runs until June 2027, was promoted to the senior squad at the start of the 2024/25 season but made only two appearances.
Aznou was subsequently loaned to Villarreal in February 2025, where he made 16 La Liga appearances over six months. After returning to Munich in June, he played just nine minutes for Bayern during the Club World Cup. Despite this, the Bayern coaching staff reportedly has no plans to include him in their squad for the upcoming season.
According to reports, Everton has reached a full agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Aznou on a permanent transfer. The English club will pay a fee of €11 million. Aznou is expected to travel to England early next week to undergo a medical and sign his new contract with Everton.
The move is driven by Aznou seeking more opportunities due to stiff competition for places at Bayern Munich, despite his recognized potential.
