NCAA Men’s Soccer Top 25: Portland featured atop the new national rankings

United Soccer Coaches have released the sixth set of NCAA Men's Rankings for the 2025 season, with Portland claiming the No. 1 position, followed by NC State at No. 2, Stanford at No. 3, Vermont at No. 4, and Bryant at No. 5. The full Top 25 rankings are available, and all records are updated through games played on September 28, 2025.

Several teams received votes in the rankings, including University of Delaware (11 votes), Cornell University (10 votes), Boston University (7 votes), Clemson University (6 votes), Florida Atlantic University (4 votes), Gardner-Webb University (4 votes), George Mason University (3 votes), Southern Methodist University (2 votes), Utah Valley University (2 votes), University of North Carolina (1 vote), and California Baptist University (1 vote). Additionally, Boys High School Rankings from Week 5 and new women's college soccer rankings have been published.

Other updates include a summary of Youth National Team call-ups, Benjamin Cremaschi achieving a hat trick and replacing Diego Kochen on the roster, and the debut of the expanded id2 program this season.
