Following TNT's 108-88 loss to San Miguel Beer in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals, TNT big man Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser refused to make excuses despite the team missing the injured Poy Erram. Ganuelas-Rosser acknowledged being part of the group tasked with filling the void left by Erram.
Ganuelas-Rosser stated it was unfortunate not to have Erram but emphasized the team's "next man up" mentality throughout the conference. He admitted that while the called-upon players tried their best, their efforts, particularly in the frontcourt, were insufficient against San Miguel.
The player struggled offensively, finishing with only three points. Compounding the issue, his San Miguel counterpart, June Mar Fajardo, dominated the game with 33 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite failing to contain Fajardo, Ganuelas-Rosser offered no alibis. He framed the challenge as the reason for rigorous offseason preparation and rehab, stressing the need to be ready and push through fatigue without complaint.
Looking ahead to Game 4, Ganuelas-Rosser recognizes he must dig even deeper, especially with Erram still doubtful to return.
