PBA: Jordan Heading excited for healthier TNT next season

TNT Tropang 5G finished as runners-up in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals after losing the best-of-seven series to the San Miguel Beermen. The Beermen secured the championship with a 107-96 victory in Game 6 at the Philsports Arena.

Despite the loss, TNT player Jordan Heading expressed optimism about the team's future. He highlighted the promise of having a complete roster heading into Season 50, contrasting it with the depleted lineup that struggled against San Miguel Beer in the finals. Heading stated, "It’s a really exciting thought to see how we’ll gel together," and emphasized that adding players like himself, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Mike Nieto, and Simon Enciso would provide significant "added and extra firepower."

The loss in the Philippine Cup Finals thwarted TNT's bid for a Grand Slam. The Tropang 5G had previously won the Commissioner’s Cup and the Governors’ Cup but ultimately "lost steam" in the All-Filipino conference due to mounting injuries.

In the decisive Game 6 loss, Heading contributed 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists. However, the absence of key players like Jayson Castro and Rey Nambatac during the playoffs was identified as a significant factor in TNT falling short.
