Expectations for immediate success are lower. The team's performance will heavily depend on how Jalen Green and Mark Williams fit and develop, along with the progression of Ryan Dunn in his second season. Dillon Brooks and new coach Jordan Ott are expected to lead the establishment of a new defensive identity and culture, addressing a significant weakness from the past two seasons.
