Real Madrid star exiled from squad ahead of imminent exit

Real Madrid are prioritizing player sales after completing four first-team signings (Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Franco Mastantuono, and Alvaro Carreras), bringing their senior squad to 25 players - the maximum registrable with La Liga. Further signings are impossible without departures.

Alongside potential high-profile exits like Rodrygo Goes, fellow Brazilian Reinier Jesus is poised to leave. He is part of a group of players, including Alvaro Rodriguez, Jacobo Ramon, and Mario Martin, who have already departed or are set to depart the club.

Reinier's time at Real Madrid since his 2020 arrival has been disastrous. He has never made a first-team appearance and failed to impress during loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Girona, Frosinone, and most recently Granada last season.

As a result, Real Madrid are actively seeking a move for Reinier, even considering mutual contract termination. New Castilla coach Alvaro Arbeloa has excluded him from plans, leaving Reinier training alone at Valdebebas.

Reinier's troubled spell at Real Madrid is expected to end this summer. Despite being only 23 and having time to revive his career, his immediate focus remains securing a transfer away from the club.
