Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is willing to reduce his wage demands to facilitate a transfer to Inter Milan. According to SportMediaset, the Nigerian international is ready to accept a net salary of €3.5 million per season to make the move happen.
Inter Milan have identified Lookman as their primary attacking target. However, Atalanta are demanding a €50 million transfer fee and have already rejected Inter's initial bid of €40 million. Inter are prepared to improve their offer to test Atalanta's resolve and aim to progress the deal quickly.
Lookman's willingness to lower his salary demands provides Inter with a significant boost. Personal terms on a five-year contract were previously agreed upon, reportedly at around €4 million net per season. His acceptance of €3.5 million net per season will allow Inter to more easily increase their transfer offer to Atalanta and expedite the completion of the deal.
