Report – Atalanta Wantaway Star Refuses To Return To Bergamo Until Inter Milan Transfer Done

Ademola Lookman is refusing to return to Atalanta as he pushes for a transfer to Inter Milan, with negotiations between the two clubs currently at a standstill.

The impasse stems from a significant gap in valuation. Atalanta has set an asking price of €55 million for the Nigerian forward, while Inter Milan is holding firm on their latest offer of €45 million.

Although Lookman has already agreed on personal terms with Inter, Atalanta remains unmoved and appears intent on prolonging the talks until the end of August.

This tactic of drawing out negotiations mirrors Atalanta's approach in the protracted discussions over Teun Koopmeiners with Juventus last summer. Inter had hoped to avoid a similar scenario but now finds it seemingly unavoidable.
