PSV Eindhoven has confirmed the signing of Ruben van Bommel, the son of former player and manager Mark van Bommel, to replace departing winger Noa Lang. Lang is joining Napoli in a transfer worth approximately €30 million, as revealed last week.
The young winger returns to PSV after spending seven years in the club's youth academy. Van Bommel expressed profound enthusiasm about the move, stating: "I couldn't have written it better than this." He emphasized that playing for PSV's first team fulfilled a long-held aspiration, adding: "To play for PSV 1 myself is secretly something I've always dreamed of. I've always had in my head that if PSV would report, that I would really like to go there."
