St. Louis CITY SC Welcomes English Premier League Club Aston Villa to Energizer Park

St. Louis CITY SC will host English Premier League club Aston Villa in an international friendly match at Energizer Park on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. CT. This event brings a top European club to St. Louis and marks only the second senior international friendly ever held at the stadium, following CITY2's 2022 match against Bayer Leverkusen. The match will be broadcast locally on FOX2.

Aston Villa arrives after a strong 2023-24 season under head coach Unai Emery, having finished sixth in the Premier League (securing European qualification) and reaching the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

Beyond the game, the club encourages fans to create a memorable atmosphere by arriving early for pre-match festivities and giving Aston Villa a warm welcome.
