The Buffalo Bills resumed training camp practices on Sunday at St. John Fisher University after a day off, with several injury updates and practice highlights.
Notable absences included linebacker Terrel Bernard and wide receiver Curtis Samuel, both sidelined with hamstring injuries. Additionally, center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger has yet to practice due to a calf injury. Tight end Dawson Knox and wide receiver/kick returner Laviska Shenault missed practice again but were activated off the Non-Football Injury list later in the day, making them available for Monday's session.
During practice, wide receiver Tyrell Shavers suffered a right ankle injury after making a one-handed touchdown catch while covered by rookie cornerback Max Hairston. Shavers landed awkwardly and was carted off the field, but sources later confirmed it as a low ankle sprain with no serious concerns.
In 11-on-11 drills, both offense and defense had strong moments, including multiple big pass plays to tight end Dalton Kincaid and defensive linemen batting down several balls.
Monday's practice is scheduled for 9:45 a.m., with head coach Sean McDermott addressing the media at 9:15 a.m.
