The Tennessee Titans are adapting to the absence of wide receiver Treylon Burks, who suffered a fractured collarbone during training camp. In response, the team has signed free agent Ramel Keyton to bolster their receiving corps.
Keyton, a 24-year-old undrafted player from the 2024 class, spent five collegiate seasons at Tennessee. He briefly joined the Las Vegas Raiders last season, appearing in eight games but recording only one reception for seven yards. The Raiders released him during the draft after selecting TCU's Jack Bech, leaving Keyton without a team since April until this Titans opportunity.
Despite joining the roster, Keyton faces significant competition in a crowded wide receiver room featuring Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson, and eight others. He will participate in his first Titans practice on Monday, though roster retention remains challenging due to the position's depth.
