Top Play: Lamar Jackson Connects With DeAndre Hopkins for Sideline Catch

During joint practices against the Colts, several offensive and defensive highlights emerged. Lamar Jackson connected with multiple receivers, including finding a wide-open Charlie Kolar for a big gain, throwing a touchdown pass to Mark Andrews on a diving catch, completing a precision long touchdown pass to Keith Kirkwood, and placing two deep passes perfectly for Dayton Wade.

Wide receivers made notable plays: DeAndre Hopkins demonstrated great spatial awareness for a sideline catch and continued to make tough grabs, though a spectacular one-handed touchdown catch was nullified by an offensive pass interference flag. Dayton Wade also made an impressive leaping touchdown catch from Cooper Rush, while Tylan Wallace hauled in a difficult touchdown pass from Rush. Second-year receiver Devontez Walker continued to shine.

Defensively, cornerbacks made significant plays. Chidobe Awuzie intercepted a pass intended for Tylan Wallace, T.J. Tampa deflected a pass in the end zone and later secured a red-zone interception, and Jaire Alexander came away with his second interception of practice, visibly excited.
