Stage 21 of the Tour de France was a flat, 132.3km route from Mantes-la-Ville to Paris. Wout van Aert won the stage, securing victory on the Champs-Elysees after taking the lead on Montmartre during a thrilling finale.

Tadej Pogacar won the Tour de France overall for the fourth time, retaining his title. This victory puts him level with Britain's Chris Froome on four Tour wins.

Jonas Vingegaard, a two-time winner, finished second overall in the general classification. Germany's Florian Lipowitz took third place, while Britain's Oscar Onley finished fourth overall riding for Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL. Geraint Thomas completed his final Tour de France with the Ineos Grenadiers team.
