The national outlook on the Atlanta Hawks is improving, as evidenced by several players being named to ESPN's list of the top 100 NBA players for the 2025-26 season.
ESPN compiled the rankings by having a panel of 150 experts, including reporters, editors, producers, and analysts, vote on over 20,000 head-to-head player matchups to predict which player would perform better in the upcoming season.
The rankings are being released in phases, with positions 100 to 51 announced on Tuesday, 50 to 11 on Wednesday, and the top 10 set to be revealed on Thursday.
With Trae Young ranked 29th, it is unlikely that any Hawks player will be included in the top 10 list.
The Hawks players featured in the top 100 are Trae Young at 29th, Jalen Johnson at 44th, Kristaps Porzingis at 50th, Dyson Daniels at 55th, Onyeka Okongwu at 79th, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker at 96th.
This reflects a positive trend for the team, which has consistently had two to three players in ESPN's top 100 rankings over the past three seasons.
