Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié, a key player for Saudi club Al-Ahli, is attracting significant interest during the summer transfer window.
According to reports from Saudi newspaper Arriyadiyah, English Championship club Leeds United have made a move to sign Kessié, who previously played for FC Barcelona and AC Milan.
Fiorentina, who are also targeting Kessié to strengthen their midfield, now faces direct competition from Leeds United for the player's signature.
Al-Ahli's management is reportedly open to transferring Kessié, but only if they receive a financially satisfactory agreement, particularly regarding the player's annual salary.
Despite the interest from Leeds and others, the 28-year-old Kessié is said to be leaning towards a return to Serie A, the Italian league where he made a significant impact during his time at AC Milan.
Kessié has made 77 appearances for Al-Ahli over the past two seasons, scoring 14 goals and providing 9 assists, and played a crucial role in their AFC Champions League triumph.
