On the final day of the season, Union Berlin won the league title with a 6-0 win against FSV Gütersloh, surpassing their own attendance record with 20,132 fans present, and they finished the season with the highest average attendance in Germany for women's professional teams at 7,190 per game, placing them among the most-attended in Europe.
