This follows Europe's 16.5-11.5 victory in the 2023 contest held in Rome, and the event will be broadcast exclusively live on Sky Sports Golf.

The biennial competition was rescheduled to odd-numbered years starting from 2023, after being postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and taking place the following year. The 2025 edition marks a return to this adjusted timeline.

Bethpage Black, a public course known for its difficulty, features a warning sign at the first tee advising that it is recommended only for highly skilled golfers. The venue has previously hosted the US Open twice and the 2019 PGA Championship.

Future Ryder Cup venues have been announced, with the 2027 contest set for Adare Manor in Ireland and the 2029 edition at Hazeltine National Golf Club, which previously hosted in 2016. The venue for the 2031 Ryder Cup has not yet been confirmed.

Play is scheduled to begin at 7:10 AM local time (12:10 PM UK time) on Friday and Saturday, while the opening singles match on Sunday will start at 12:02 PM local time (5:02 PM UK time).
