WNBA All-Star Game Performer Arrested On Felony Charge

The WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana, received positive reviews. Despite Caitlin Clark's absence from both the game and the 3-Point Contest, the event drew large crowds. However, rapper GloRilla, who performed during the All-Star Game halftime show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, has been arrested. She faces a felony drug possession charge.

The arrest stemmed from a burglary at GloRilla's residence in the Atlanta suburbs early Saturday morning (around 1:30 AM). When Forsyth County deputies responded to the burglary-in-progress call, the suspects had already fled. During their search for the burglars, investigators reportedly encountered marijuana. This led to GloRilla being charged with felony drug possession. The sheriff's office also reported that an armed occupant of the house fired at the three intruders during the incident.

GloRilla's lawyers have spoken out regarding the situation.
