Women’s D2, D3, NAIA Weekly Recap

In Division II women's soccer, Elle Smith from Indiana (Pa.) was named Player of the Week after scoring a hat trick to lead the Crimson Hawks to a 4-0 conference-opening victory. Simon Fraser earned Team of the Week honors after a successful road trip in California, securing wins against Chico State (1-0) and San Francisco State (5-0).

For Division III, Darilyn Nieto of Salem stood out as Player of the Week by scoring hat tricks in narrow wins over Hollins and Berea, further solidifying her position as the NCAA DIII goals leader. Trine was recognized as Team of the Week after holding defending national champions to a 1-1 draw and defeating Millikin 3-1.

In the NAIA division, Jayla Boyd of Pikeville was named Player of the Week for her impactful performances, scoring an equalizer against Columbia College and netting a hat trick in a win over Bluefield. Oklahoma Wesleyan claimed Team of the Week honors after a strong road draw against No. 3 John Brown and an emphatic 8-0 home victory against Evangel.
